So he's really only continuing to disagree at all because Chikusa's refuting him, and Ken only stops fighting when forced to. Either by someone giving him orders he's actually inclined to listen to, his body giving out on him, or his having triumphed over all visible opposition.
At Chikusa's question, he rolls his injured shoulder - probably not the wisest kind of move to make, but he wants to test its flexibility and how much pain he'll be in when he moves it.
