I don't get credit for bein' smart, because I ain't, but I try to keep a head on my shoulders for all that. [Paladins, priests, mages, warlocks--well, maybe not warlocks, for mucking with fel energies, but...those sorts were the smart ones, for sure. And some rogues were really clever, but Avandrel didn't count herself among them.]

Even the people might not know anythin', but if they're friendlies, it won't hurt to ask, eh?
