List of quests beneath the cut!
Eggs 101
Past the residential portion of Domina, to the west, a small clearing sandwiched between trees and hillside cliffs lays. While this is usually a quiet area, today it's anything but. Those passing by will hear a chorus of various chirps, sounding larger than the usual birds in the trees. Following the sound will have people find Rachel, the daughter of the general store owners, crouched behind a bush. She's peering at... Do those eggs have feet?
➤ Minor NPC Involvement
➤ Artifact reward
➤ Eggs
➤ Amalette the Courier Pelican is wandering all around town, and will cheerfully tell anyone who stays around her long enough "Super-duper hidden treasure~! Over-rover by the clearing~!"
Rabitten
Whether you hear it from Mark, looking despondent in his shop, or from Jennifer, hanging around the marketplace and glad to vent frustration, it becomes apparent that there's a problem at the General Store. Something has been gnawing on their stock, and the couple will reward whoever can catch the little menace responsible.
➤ Amalette the Courier Pelican will chat about the couple being upset about store troubles, directing people to either of the pair.
Pray and Take
Reverend Nouvelle is wandering throughout all of Domina... Except for anywhere near the Church he's supposed to be tending. Feathers literally ruffled and his taloned hands fidgeting, he'll ask any new face if they have any experience in chasing away bandits. It looks like a group of thieving Chobit Hoods has taken over the Church. He needs assistance chasing them out. He can't offer any reward himself, but certainly a group of bandits like that would drop something of value...
➤ Artifact reward
Inngratitude
Miss Yuka, the proprietor of Domina's sole inn, is having a problem. She's having a couple of problems, actually. You see, a few of her patrons have stopped being patrons, but they've refused to move out of the rooms she's rented to them. However, a plump matronly bird can't exactly do much in that area... So she'll reward anyone who can help her kick out each loiterer.
➤ "No pay~ No stay~ But Miss Yuka needs help to get them away~." Unlike most of Amalette's gossip, this one has actually been encouraged by Miss Yuka, a fact the pelican will gladly tell anyone.
Welcome to the first Quests post! As this is the first one, feel free to ask as many questions as you like.
Not only is this a Quests post, but there are top levels for other things as well!
- Questions
- Changes to Home
- Quest plotting
- Other
Keep in mind that Quest posts happen every two months, so there's no rush to get one up or complete it.
Unless a Quest has "NPC Involvement" attached to it, the Quest is in the hands of the players... within reason. (Ex.: taking out a band of troublesome Chobit Hoods should not evolve into fighting the King of the Bandits and stealing the title for yourself.) Any other details necessary for a Quest will likely be found in "Questions" and "Quest Plotting". Remember to communicate with your fellow players!
Re: Regains
Garuda-Egi is the essence of the primal spirit of Garuda, the Ixali primal of air and wind, coalesced into a form that the summoner can use and control. There are really only three abilities it could be using here, since Sara wouldn't be regaining her summoner magic as well. They are:
Wind Blade, which is pretty much exactly what it entails. Does a little damage.
Shockwave, which knocks a target back, also doing a little damage, but not as much as Wind Blade.
And Aerial Slash, which does a little damage in a cone, so it can affect more than one enemy at a time.
(That or if that makes Garuda-egi too strong, I think I'd pick Shockwave as a single power it gets. I don't want to go TOO crazy...)
Sara's required presence!
no subject
A small gust of wind picks up, twisting in a miniature tornado before him, before a small fat creature with large ears and pale green skin takes shape. They seem quite cheerful, bobbing in place as they observe Sara. If she's noticing everything around her, they seems to stare for a bit longer than any of the other spirits around. After a second, however, they give a determined nod and twist around her in a manner that kicks up grass and dirt. As the wind whirls, Sarah will be able to feel a connection to Garuda-Egi once more.
However, summoning Garuda-Egi reveals some... aesthetic differences, for some reason. Brilliant yellow-green has been changed for a softer seafoam shade, and silver bangles at its ankles with matching ring earrings at its ear-feathers. It might a mystery as to what it means. It can also unfortunately only do Shockwave, for the time being.
The small wind elemental goes tumbling back, seeming exhausted but satisfied at the effort, and disappears in a gust of wind.
