[log] adulting with decent success
Who: Yamaguchi and Tsukishima
What: A pair of teenagers went out to shop and make dinner. You're welcome, you bunch of weirdos.
Where: Home's kitchen (plus a thread in Domina)
When: Day 2, evening
Other: This is a joint post, so let us know if you'd prefer one volleyball obsessed teen over the other! Choice 1: Yamaguchi, a good child who deserves better, bad at people. Choice 2: Tsukishima, a shittalking nerd who fakes manners, worse at people.
Anyone who pays particular attention to the people heading in and out of the tree will probably pick up on the fact that, in the morning, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi head off together towards Domina carrying their (now emptied) bags. They're out most of the day, and anyone else who pops into Domina can probably see them going through the market.
Eventually, however, they do come back with significantly less empty bags, and promptly head into the kitchen. There's a brief moment where Tsukishima ducks out to get water from the well around back, but then he stays in there with Yamaguchi.
Eventually, the smell of cooking starts to drift out into the rest of the first floor. Anyone who investigates will find Yamaguchi doing most of the actual cooking, but Tsukishima is doing his share of food preparation.
Feel free to bother either of them, although food isn't ready just yet.

Well, that's... that's a bit terrifying, actually. Um... [His voice just as quiet, he looks up at the blond, head tilted just so.] ... Do you think she'll take the ones we buy, too?

[How much can you trust a bunch of random strangers, including talking cats and elves, anyway? Not a lot, if you ask him. (Frankly, he wouldn't even trust some of the people he knows to be around knives. Bokuto and Hinata would just hurt themselves.)]
[His shoulders roll in a shrug.]
At least some of them seem like they're calm... Did you talk to anyone yesterday?
no subject
[He thinks on it for a moment, picking up a tomato to peer at its skin.]
Some of them just looked kinda weird, I was a little intimidated, I guess. What about you?
no subject
I talked to a few people when I was trying to find out what happened… There’s a girl named I-Pin who seems fine, but don’t be surprised if she tries to rope you into learning martial arts. I think she and Bokuto-san are up to something.
[He pauses looking through the tomatoes to glance up at Yamaguchi.]
How many do you think we should get?
no subject
Oh... I guess I'll have to be careful, then. Not that learning martial arts is a bad thing, maybe...
[At least, if this place is even a little dangerous, right? He turns his attention to the tomatoes and hums a little.]
Probably at least a dozen, right? There's a lot of people...
no subject
[This has absolutely nothing to do with low expectations and pessimism combined which plotted to try and minimize any future fallout which he was sure would inevitably happen. Absolutely nothing.]
[Starting to inspect the tomatoes for the good ones, he shrugs.]
It seems like the kind of thing that’d just get out of hand to me… Do you want to try it out?
