What: Talking about ways to keep Home in harmony and talk about what's going on in a more group-like format. Related to Zenyatta's billboard post earlier

Other: Party style log. Zenyatta will have his own top if you want to interact with him specifically

By now, Zenyatta hopes that anyone who is interested in talking about the situation and how to keep Home in harmony has seen the notes he left on the bulletin board. Sunset comes, so he removes the old notes and piles them neatly on the table. (Just in case one of the people he conversed with wants to keep the note.) Zenyatta does leave his message of "Hello world. ( ´ ▽ ` )" up. He likes it there.

There are many questions and different experiences among them. A chance to talk with one another will help make their stay easier. This situation is strange, but it need not be an unpleasant one.

[Like hell he's going to waste time with something like that! Ryan will clean his own spaces, that's about it.]

I do hope people capable of taking on specialized jobs won't be included in this list of yours. I will be busy setting up a lab and a rudimentary medical clinic. I don't have time to be a maid.

[ If there was one thing that I-Pin detested, it was people who thought themselves above others. And, yes, while a clinic was necessary, it didn't mean this guy had to be a jerk about it. ]

Well, while you do that, maybe you could also spare the twenty minutes sweeping the halls once a week.

[But he is above others, and isn't cleaning and tending to a potential clinic enough? Honestly! Still, Ryan doesn't much mind cleaning. Since she's not trying to put him on some sort of rotation to clean the outhouses, he'll accept it.]

Well, I suppose that won't take too terribly long.

[ She sighed in relief, glad that he didn't go off about sweeping. ]

Good. Would you need someone helping around your clinic, doctor?

[ Because dealing with him counted as a chore. ]

[Doesn't it just? He's definitely a chore. Ryan folds his arms and hums thoughtfully.]

I need help getting supplies and setting it up, but other than maintaining supplies once it's set up I shouldn't need any help. Unless there's anyone else around here with medical expertise, that is.

[He pauses, recalling something she mentioned earlier to someone else (yes, he was listening in like a creep).]

You mentioned food allergies earlier. If you could get the person making a list for that to get a general medical history from everyone, that would be helpful.

Okay, maybe you could compile a list of the medical supplies you need?

[ Ryan did make a good point to gather everyone's medical histories. Not that would be easy. ]

I could try, but that's under the assumption that everyone had medical services in their old world. Can you do general check-ups for those that didn't?

I can do that easily enough.

[In fact he already has one because he likes making lists, he'll just need to make a copy. Ryan hesitates for a moment at the question.]

Yes, but for the non-humans among us I won't necessarily be able to tell much about their health. I should be able to figure it out as I go along so long as their anatomy isn't too alien, though.

[If it's a creature who doesn't have the organs he's used to (heart, lungs, stomach, etc) he'll be in trouble. And also completely fascinated.]

Great! Then, we can put it on the bulletin board so everyone can help out!

[ Okay, maybe she was too critical at first. Ryan seemed to calm down and willing to help. It was good to have a doctor around too! ]

I think during the checkups, there should be someone else with you too. No offense to you, doctor, I just think it gives a sense of security for the person.

[Always go with your gut, I-Pin. Not that Ryan is going to hurt anyone since he's such a perfectionist that he won't be able to bring himself to do it while he's acting as a doctor, but he definitely is a grade A asshole.]

That would be fine. One of the other species around might be preferable so that people don't feel too scrutinized.

[The robot holding this meeting would suit nicely in his opinion. Nice and docile.]

[ She just wanted to believe in the good in everyone, okay? ]

Sounds good! Maybe we should also post on the bulletin board when people are available for a check-up? When your clinic is in order, of course.

Supplies aren't really necessary for a simple check up. I can start doing those at any time.

[Though he's realizing with dawning horror he only has two pairs of gloves and one facial mask since that's what he was carrying with him. He's going to have to reuse both... how disgusting! He'll just save the gloves for open wounds and wash his hands really, really thoroughly.]

All right, then, we can start making an appointment chart!

[ Everything started falling into place. It was an exciting development: there was a doctor, and now everyone could get medical assistance. ]

Would you charge for your services, doctor?

Does anyone even have any money at the moment?

[If they did, he absolutely would! As it is, the only charge will be him secretly tallying favors in his head.]

I suppose I'll "charge" in aid with other matters and whatever supplies people can bring.

Well, there are the coins that were on our dressers. I think they're called lucre.

What do you mean "aid with other matters?"

[ 'Cause if that didn't sound the least bit suspicious... ]

[Ah... that's something he probably left in his old room. Oops.]

I'd like to set up a lab as well eventually to study the local flora and fauna, but I'll need a significant amount of help with that as you can imagine. I won't really have the time to gather food for myself or anything like that either.

[ Woah, wait, back up a minute.

She quirked a brow at him. ]

You're providing medical services in exchange for someone to be your personal butler?

What? No.

[He scoffs. Like he wants someone washing his clothes or making his bed!]

It's an exchange. I provide medical services and someone else provides food and other necessities I won't have the time or resources to get. It used to be a fairly standard arrangement for small town doctors.

Well, I guess that seems fair. Since we're setting up cooking chores, you're likely to have food provided.

[ It still sounded a little pompous but Ryan would be the doctor of their group. ]

So, during the times you don't have patients, you'll be studying the land we're in. Will you give us updates on anything interesting you found?

If you like. There's a book in the library I wrote a little in already — basic first aid procedures. Other people can add to it as well if they have any useful information.

[Just watch someone add the rules of volleyball to his precious book. He'll be so mad...]

[ But, what if they were first aid procedures in regards to volleyball injuries? Would that be acceptable? ]

Great! That was nice of you to do that.

[Nice? That's not what he was going for...]

Well, if everyone cares for their injuries properly to start with it will make my job easier.

I guess that is true...

Where do you think your clinic will be located, doctor?

[That much he hasn't decided. Inside the tree would be most convenient for him, but people need it more outside and if it's closer to town he can potentially get townspeople as clients too...]

What do you think would be most convenient?

[ She gave a thoughtful pause, debating whether or not to say within the tree or outside. ]

Hmm, well, I think outside would be better. I mean, if it was in the tree, it'd have to be in one of the rooms, since the downstairs is a little crowded. But, if someone broke or sprained something, they'd have to go up the stairs.

[ Or she had to carry them, whichever. ]

[She really is the helpful sort, isn't she? Ryan's getting the feeling that he can push off the parts of the work he doesn't want to do on her so long as he asks the right questions.]

That's true, but... it seems like something worth clearing one of the rooms for, at least temporarily. We would have to build a space if we wanted it to be outside the tree — or rent, but I definitely don't have the funds for that. Do you know of any potential sites?
