[log] Walk in harmony

Who: Zenyatta and others
What: Talking about ways to keep Home in harmony and talk about what's going on in a more group-like format. Related to Zenyatta's billboard post earlier
Where: Home's sitting area on the first floor
When: Backdated to Day 4, sunset
Other: Party style log. Zenyatta will have his own top if you want to interact with him specifically

By now, Zenyatta hopes that anyone who is interested in talking about the situation and how to keep Home in harmony has seen the notes he left on the bulletin board. Sunset comes, so he removes the old notes and piles them neatly on the table. (Just in case one of the people he conversed with wants to keep the note.) Zenyatta does leave his message of "Hello world. ( ´ ▽ ` )" up. He likes it there.

There are many questions and different experiences among them. A chance to talk with one another will help make their stay easier. This situation is strange, but it need not be an unpleasant one.

[Sam was already expecting he might have to have to play "school nurse" of sorts to the teenagers and kids. He'd say he's resigned himself to it, but truth is he doesn't mind all that much. It was so... normal-sounding that he was kind of looking forward to it.

He returns the doctor's smile with a slight one of his own, pulling his hands out from his pockets in order to shake the one offered to him.

Sam Winchester. It's a relief to have an actual doctor here. Just let me know how I can help.

[He doesn't really explain as to how or why about his own medical knowledge.]

[Best not to tell people what sort of doctor he is. There's no one else that can take on this role right now as far as he knows, and it'll be easier if people trust in his knowledge. Ryan doesn't expect them to trust him, but he'll still get irritated if his decisions are argued with.]

For the moment at least I think I have it under control other than gathering supplies and securing a location outside the tree. Check-ups are easy to perform. I would ask you to help with them, but I'm looking for a woman or one of the non-humans for that.

[For obvious reasons.]

[He gives a nod, lets his arms fall to his sides when they're finished shaking hands, loops a thumb in his pocket.]

Fair enough. There could be a place in Domina you could use. It might take some money though. Have you been over there yet?

Only briefly. I'm not certain I want to set up there just yet. The locals seem friendly enough, but we can't forget that someone — or something — is responsible for bringing us here. We shouldn't extend too much trust to any natives.

[Or anyone at all for that matter. What this is really boiling down to is Ryan being an antisocial asshole who wants either a nice secluded place of his own or somewhere close to where he's sleeping.]

[Well. That sounds kind of paranoid to Sam. He's all for being cautious, sure, but he hadn't noticed any hostility toward them yet. Whatever or whoever had brought them here had also given them items to help them survive, was letting them move around freely. Hell of a lot nicer than most of the things Sam's dealt with in his life, which had actively tried to kill him or those he cared about. This place was a paradise by comparison.

With Ryan's line of thinking, it could just have easily been anyone in this house who brought the rest of them there and was lying about it. At some point though you just had to trust yourself enough to know you'd be able to handle betrayal if it came along, and not stress yourself out expecting it at every turn.

Isn't that sort of what got me killed at Cold Oak, though? Yeah... Even so.
]

Maybe. At the moment we don't have a lot of options, though. If we want to survive, we're likely going to need their help with something at some point.
