[Event] Pumpkiller
Who: A very big and magical Jack-O-Lantern and you
What: A giant pumpkin is trying to take over Domina... or something like that.
Where: West Domina, past the residential area
When: Day 33
Other: Likely some violence. Check the post for more info and ask any questions here.

At least, that's what the usual mail pelican is frantically squawking about on the front steps of home with her feathers going everywhere as she flaps her wings.
And.... there are some very disconcerting dark clouds gathering around Domina that haven't yet started intruding on the sky around Home. Perhaps this merits some checking out.
To those that venture forth, they'll notice that Domina is eerily quiet as they step into it from the road. Both Domina's tavern and inn seem empty, which is a strange thing in itself. Anyone who's visited the town regularly will have noticed that those two places, for good reason, are often the most lively places in town.
Just where has everyone gone....?

Domina and the Park
[Well, a few people seem concerned and are fussing appropriately. However, the general majority doesn't seem to be. Judging by the way that they're standing around exchanging gossip, it gives off the impression that all of this is weird and annoying and concerning in that kind of bewildering way.... but like when an entire kitchen gets coated in flour and people are trying to figure out why. Definitely not an End Of The World (tm) feeling at all.]
[Feel free to join the throngs of people, or just nose around town while most of the populace is hanging around here.]

Rachel
He is more alarmed when the town lacks its normal activity and searches for a familiar face. He finds one along with where the missing townspeople had gone. ]
Ah, Miss Rachel, do you know what is going on?
[ And if they had not already had a chance to meet again, she will be able to see what his egg hatched into. ]

Hello, Zenyatta! There's a giant pumpkin that's grown not far from all the houses.
[So, you know. She gives a slight shrug.]
The Reverend says it's most likely something magical that happened, but I'm not sure how. We don't usually get a lot of magic in Domina, besides Mana spirits sometimes appearing.
no subject
Miss Amalette was very alarmed by its appearance. Did no one plan the crop there?
no subject
[Her hands begin to spread out.]
When I say big, I mean to say that it's become the size of a house... And it's using its vines to attack people. I guess it'd be scarier if it could move at all...
[Promptly, she smiles.]
But Duelle is taking care of it!
no subject
[ (He hopes Bothi does not grow to be that large.) ]
Is there anything we can do to aid Duelle?
no subject
[If a couple of people have thrown rocks at it and run away, well, Rachel isn't saying.]
Well... Are you sure you'll be alright? [Her brow crinkles in concern.] Duelle went there because he's the best fighter anyone knows, but you don't have to get yourself hurt....
no subject
I have martial arts training, and I will make sure that Bothi remains at a safe distance. Please be at ease.
[ She should be concerned for the monk bot... ]
no subject
[She guesses the man made entirely out of metal would know his own limits best, right? This can't go wrong at all.]
If it seems too dangerous, don't be afraid to come back!
no subject
[ With a slight bow, he goes to see about this large pumpkin. ]
Miss Yuka
Miss Yuka, are you and your egg alright? This seems dangerous, I wouldn't want to see either of you hurt.
[He's tempted to insist he escort her back to the Inn where he thinks she'll be safer, but he doesn't want to offend her.]
no subject
Oh, dear Sam! We're quite well. The Reverend says that he doesn't think those nasty things over in the lot will come into town, but I'm not sure. Pee-Wee is too delicate to deal with such stress.
[Even if Pee-Wee seems to be casually making another break for it, which Miss Yuka deals with by guiding him back to her side with her wing again.]
no subject
Alright. Either way, it would probably be best for you both to stay away from the lot if you can, okay? I'm gonna head over there and see what's going on. Oh-- [He pauses, turns back toward her again before he leaves.] And, uh, I found who I was looking for, but I wanted to thank you for keeping an eye out for him for me anyway.
no subject
[Considering the whole beak deal, it can be a little difficult to tell her expressions at times, but there's no missing the delight in her little full-body bounce.]
Delightful! You should both drop by the inn sometime, Pee-Wee and I would be delighted to meet him in person!
no subject
Though, he's trying to imagine what Dean's reaction to the lifesize bird would be, or her son for that matter, and he's not really sure how that would go. Beyond Dean probably dropping his jaw or making stupid jokes, anyway.]
Sure. I'll bring him by sometime soon.
[They should probably hit the tavern together anyway, Sam's pretty sure Dean could use it. And the inn's right by there, it could easily be their first stop.]
Stay safe, you two!
